KajolKajol Devgan (née Mukherjee) (born 5 August 1974[1][2]), known mononymously as Kajol, is an Indian film actress who predominantly works in Hindi cinema. She has received six Filmfare Awards from eleven nominations, and along with her late aunt Nutan, holds the record for most Best Actress wins at Filmfare, with five.[3] In 2011, the Government of Indiaawarded her with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award of the country.

Born to actress Tanuja and film director Shomu Mukherjee, Kajol made her acting debut with Bekhudi (1992) while still in school. She quit her studies to pursue acting, and had her first commercial success with the 1993 thriller Baazigar. She subsequently earned wide public recognition for playing leading roles in several blockbuster family dramas, including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham… (2001). She earned critical appreciation for playing against type in the 1997 mystery film Gupt and the 1998 psychological thriller Dushman. Following a sabbatical from full-time acting in 2001, Kajol returned to film with the 2006 romantic thriller, Fanaa. She continued working infrequently through the rest of the decade, and earned critical acclaim for her work in U Me Aur Hum (2008) and My Name Is Khan (2010). She, thus, established herself as one of India’s most successful female actors.[4][5]

Kajol is a social activist and is noted for her work with widows and children, for which she received the Karmaveer Puraskaarin 2008. She has featured as a talent judge for Zee TV’s reality show, Rock-N-Roll Family (2008) and holds a managerial position at Devgn Entertainment and Software. In 1999, they married, and she gave birth to their daughter, Nysa, in 2003 and their son, Yug, in 2010.

 

ZeenatZeenat Aman (born 19 November 1951 in Bombay) is an Indian actress and former beauty pageant titleholder and modelbest known for her work in Hindi films during the 1970s and 80’s. She was the second runner up in the Miss India contest and went on to win the Miss Asia Pacific in 1970. She was the first South Asian woman to win the title. Upon making her debut in Bollywood, Zeenat Aman, along with Parveen Babi, was credited with making a lasting impact on the image of its leading actresses by introducing the western look to Hindi cinema.

 

Reita FariaReita Faria Powell (born c. 1945) was the first Indian and Asian to win the Miss World title in the year of 1966. She is the only Miss World who qualified as a doctor during her reign. Faria was born in Mumbai. After winning the Miss Mumbai Crown earlier that year, she won the Eve’s Weekly Miss India contest (not to be confused with the Femina Miss India competition, won that year by Yasmin Daji).

After her one-year tenure as Miss World, she refused modeling and films and instead concentrated on medical studies. Reita Faria was a student at the Grant Medical College & Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals where she completed her M.B.B.S. degree. Thereafter she went on to study at King’s College Hospital, London. She married her mentor David Powell in 1971, and in 1973, the couple shifted to Dublin, where she started her medical practice.[3]

Reita was a judge at Femina Miss India in 1998, and has come back to judge the Miss World competition on a few occasions. For instance she was a judge along with Demis Roussos at the Miss World final of 1976 held in London where Cindy Breakespeare was crowned Miss World. She now lives in Dublin, Ireland, with her husband, endocrinologist David Powell, whom she married in 1971. They have two children and five grandchildren.

Prachi DesaiPrachi Desai is an Indian film and television actress. She is the endorser, spokesperson, brand ambassador and the face of Neutrogena products in India.She starred her television career in the serial Kasamh Se on Zee TV. On September 2007, Desai entered in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as contestant and was eliminated on November 2007. However, she entered again via the wild-card entry on November 2007 and was declared as winner of the show on December 2007.Desai’s first film was Rock On!! (2008), where she played the wife of Farhan Akhtar.Desai had to leave Kasamh Se to act in Rock On.[3] Her next film was Life Partner (2009).In July 2010, she appeared in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai with Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut.
